Annual Meeting-June 3rd after Pancake Breakfast

The day for UUCY’s Annual Meeting is just around the corner- Sunday,
June 3rd, immediately following our regularly scheduled First Sunday
Pancake Breakfast. We ask that all Members attend and vote as they are
able, or use the attached proxy form to assign their vote to another
member. (All are welcome to attend, but only Members have the right to
vote and/or cast proxy votes.)

The great import of your attendance at this meeting can probably be best
summed up by the Fourth Principle of Unitarian Universalism: “The right
of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our
congregations and in society at large.” Come for the pancakes, stay to
participate in the democratic process!

Haven’t read them in a while? Here are all seven Principles and
Purposes!

We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association,
covenant to affirm and promote:

The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our
congregations;
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our
congregations and in society at large;
The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a
part. .
