For those of you newer to our community, during the great pandemic, our community came together over Zoom to stay connected and enjoy the community by viewing recorded services from larger UU communities. We continued that tradition this week with a service from All Souls Unitarian, Tulsa, OK, delivered by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, “The Nation’s Soul.” Join us as we listen to this service delivered January 4, the day after the US invaded Venezuela. He reminds us of what our country was created upon: those universal longings of freedom, equality, a chance to flourish and to be happy. He challenges us with the question of whether a majority of American people believe in our founding values anymore.
